At Freedom Firearms we provide a number of service options for our customers to choose from. Listed below are the services we provide. We are always adding new services. Give us a call if you do not see the services you need.

Gun Cleaning Service

We use an Ultrasonic machine to break up grease, grime, and rust and hand oil each part of the weapon. Parts that cannot go into the machine will be hand-cleaned.

Ultra-Sonic Cleaning (Prices may change without notice)

  • Handguns: $35.00 per
  • SBR/AR Pistols: $50.00 per
  • Long Rifles/Shotguns: $45.00 per
    • Prices are based on Basic Cleaning: disassemble, hot ionizing cleaning, safety check, oil, and reassemble (bare weapon)(Parts NOT Included).

Deep Cleaning (Prices may change without notice)

Prices Starting at $80.00 – $200.00 per firearm (Parts NOT Included)

  • Pricing depends on the severity of the cleaning needed. Customer will be contacted once firearm is inspected.

Hand Cleaning ONLY(Prices may change without notice)

Prices Starting at $45.00 – $100.00 per firearm (Per Request and for firearm’s that cannot be cleaned in Ultrasonic Cleaner)(Parts NOT Included)

  • Pricing depends on the severity of the cleaning needed. Customer will be contacted once firearm is inspected.

Suppressor Cleaning(Prices may change without notice)

  • $25.00 per item

Service Policy 

  • We ask that you please remove all additional attachments on the weapon before checking then in for cleaning or repairs. 
  • Prices are based on Basic Cleaning: disassemble, hot ionizing cleaning, safety check, oil, and reassemble (bare weapon).
  • Additional charges will be added if the weapon has additional attachments that have to be removed and reassembled.
  • We are not responsible for scratches, dinks, accuracy, broken, and or missing pieces  for attachments if we have to disassemble any attachments before or after cleaning. 
  • All weapons that are check-in for service, must be pick-up by the original person whom check-in the weapon. 
  • Upon completion of all services, the customer will receive a call or text that services are completed and ready for pick up. Failure to pay in full within 7 business days after completion for all services performed will result in storage fees of $10.00 per day until the weapon(s) are picked up. After 30 days if there is no resolution and the weapon still hasn’t been picked up, the item will then become the legal property of Freedom Firearms and the items will go on consignment. Any fees that occurred will be deducted from the sale of the item(s) to cover services completed including storage fees, and consignment fee.  The remaining balance, if any, will go to the customer.

FFL/NFA Transfers

Receiving Services(Prices may change without notice)

  • Handguns: $20.00
    • Each additional weapon on the same transaction costs $10.00.
  • Long guns/Shotguns: $20.00
    • Each additional weapon on the same transaction costs $10.00.
  • NFA Item: $75.00 per item

    • Each additional NFA item costs $50.00 on the same transaction.

Transfer Policy

  • We REQUIRE a valid (not expired) government issued photo identification for all transfers and must have current address. Examples of valid identification include but are not limited to: Texas Driver license, Texas Commercial Driver License, Texas Concealed Handgun License, Texas License to Carry Handgun, Texas Identification Card.
  • Transferees has SEVEN (7) BUSINESS DAYS to pick up their transfers after receiving notice that it’s ready for pick up. Any additional time will occur storage fees of $10.00 per day. Any items left beyond thirty (30) days without proper communication, will be designated as abandoned and become legal property of Freedom Firearms without compensation to transferee.
  • The FFL Transfer fee is due for each firearm upon submission of the background check.  If the transferees background check status is “DELAYED” by the NICS (The National Instant Criminal Background Check System), upon status change on background check, you will promptly receive a call or text from us for you to come in to finalize the paperwork and legally take possession of your item. If the transferees background check status is “DENIED” anytime during the process, the transferee is still responsible for the transfer fee per firearm and the cost of return of firearm to the seller. If there is no resolution of return of the firearm, the item will then become the legal property of Freedom Firearms without compensation to the transferee. We reserve the right to decline service to anyone for any reason.

  • Handguns: First weapon $35.00 + Shipping 
    • Each additional weapon costs $20.00. 
  • Long guns/ Shotguns: First weapon $45.00 + Shipping
    • Each additional weapon costs $30.00.
  • NFA Item: First NFA item $65.00 + Shipping
    • Each additional NFA item costs $45.00.
  • Starting Prices for Boxes (if supplied by Freedom Firearms)(Prices may change without notice)
    • XS – $12.00 per
    • SML – $16.00 per
    • MED – $18.00 per

Shipping Policy

  • SHIPPING NOT INCLUDED IF THE CUSTOMER IS SUPPLYING THE SHIPPING LABEL, ONLY SERVICE FEES WILL BE APPLIED. 
  • ALL firearms must be shipped to a LICENSE FFL DEALER. We use UPS as our preferred carrier.
  • If the customer is supplying their own SHIPPING BOX, boxes MUST be unmarked corrugated packaging (brown box). If boxes are provided by Freedom Firearms, cost will be included. 
  • Shipping cost will be determined at the time the item(s) are being shipped. Handguns are shipped Next Day Air ONLY and Long guns are shipped Ground (NO EXCEPTIONS PER FEDERAL LAW). 
  • We must have the FFL DEALER PAPERWORK TO COMPLETE ANY TRANSFERS.

PIECE of MIND Transfers

Instead of wondering if you are selling your weapon to someone who cannot legally possess a firearm, we can do the work for you. Come to a safe place and have a Peace of Mind while doing it. We offer a 1 on 1 sale with a Background Check.

  • Background Check: $20.00 each.

EVENTS/SPONSORSHIP WINNINGS/RAFFLES

  • All winnings must be picked up within thirty (30) days after the event date.  
  • Any items left beyond the first thirty (30) days will occur storage fees of $10.00 per day until picked up.
  • After sixty (60) days the item is designated as abandoned and become legal property of the Freedom Firearms without compensation to the customer.
